Crack in asphalt driveway on the side of hte house with grading of driveway towards the house. Grading needs to be leveled and rack repaired.

I currently have a 40 yr old cracked concrete driveway and I am thinking of replacing it with a new asphalt driveway. I am getting cost estimates also from concrete contractors. I want to make sure that the asphalt will be thick, compacted correctly and installed with right machines too.....as I would not want to compare apples and oranges. the surface to be replaced is around 800 sqf. within two different rectangles split by a new concrete drainage portion. ( 650 sqf and 150 sqf)
