Not All Driveway Sealing Companies Maintain The Same Quality Of Services
Starting a business in sealing driveways requires little to no initial investment. As a result, it is easily accessible for anyone to start a driveway sealing business, regardless of their level of experience.
To maximize profits, some driveway sealing contractors will resort to cutting corners such as using watered-down tac oil, diluted oil-based sealers, and diluted water-based sealers. These are just a few examples of the corners some driveway sealing companies will cut to increase profits.
Is it really worth the risk hiring an inexperienced or unethical company to seal your driveway?

American Curb Appeal was selected to perform asphalt patching and seal coating of this home's driveway and parking area. The owner was forthright in his discussion of the work and provided a written proposal without nudging him to do so. The business owner, Terry Thompson, promptly answered several follow up questions and showed flexibility in adapting the work scope to the home owner's wishes. Waiting for other work to finish, but American Curb Appeal will be doing this work.
Great results
The name of the company you sent me was "Lee's (something or other) and another company that contacted me was Carter's Tree & Sealcoating. I would NOT recommend this outfit to anyone!

Driveway has multiple cracks that have been filled and seal coated several times over past 6 years by previous owner. I bought the townhouse almost 2 years ago, with no driveway work done during that time. I would like professional opinion and estimate for what should be done to improve the driveway\'s appearance and life: repair of cracks with Seal coating or adding a layer of asphalt. Or waiting another year because it doesn\'t need work now.

Resurface driveway, including widening out as close to the property line on the left as permitted by township statute. The new driveway should also slope slightly up to the building foundation to keep water away from the building. The new driveway can terminate at the same place it does now.
