We hired Allure Construction from your recommendation, the job started yesterday with the demolition of the old driveway. Forms and rebar and supposed to happen today. So far this contractor has been quite responsive with emails and activity.

Was contacted by Hal's Masonry, Inc. a few days ago. They are a local business out of Grayling, Mi - about 20 miles from my location. Owner came out yesterday to size up the job and answer questions. Am currently waiting to receive the job details and written estimate. Initial impression is positive. Owner was knowlegable and responsive. Using your 11-point checklist as a guide, this company seems to meet most of the requirements set forth. Only after the estimate and job details are recieved will I be able to fully rate this company, however. This is the second of two bids put out, so I haven't made a decision at this point.

Replacing asphalt driveway and extending backside slightly past rear of garage where our suv parks. also up to patio deck where there are currently square pavers.
I have a roughly 4ft by 8ft section I would like replaced on my drive way. Every time it rains all the water goes to the corner I would like it redirected sloped to my drain. Also my drive way is on a slight hill so I also would like a small retaining wall built on one side to stop the mud coming onto my drive way. 4 ft long by 6 inches.
I need a driveway and a patio done. I want it done in concrete.
