I have a concrete driveway that is narrow, hard to back-up on and unable to turn around on. I would like to have a gravel pad constructed adjacent to the concrete driveway, near the garage which would allow a car to back onto from the garage and turn the car around to pull out of the driveway, instead of backing out down the long narrow driveway. I think an 8’ x 8’ gravel pad would work. I will defer to the contractor to recommend the appropriate base material, side edge material and thickness of base material and gravel. The area where I want the gravel pad is currently grass.
