Received a prompt call from the owner of "Upon This Rock" concrete contractor. He was very pleasant and professional. Of the three contractors who bid on the job, he was right in the middle. All the contractors I interviewed were qualified and I would have hired any of the three. The contractor I first interviewed was the lower of all three, plus I have witnessed some of the professional and beautiful work he has done... so he got the job. Price and quality... can't ask for more than that.

Want to widen driveway on both sides in order to park more cars. Pour concrete or use brick pavers (whichever is less expensive). Would like to set up monthly payments. On one side of driveway, at least 200 sq. ft. (7’ x 28’) and at least 50 sq. ft. (3’ x 16’) on the other side of driveway. Must submit to HOA for approval before work can be started. Live in Preston Oaks in Cary NC 27513 off of Cary Parkway near High House intersection. May or may not need small 12” or so brick wall to hold back earth slope on side with 28’. Please advise. The old driveway needs work to stop a water pool forming at the bottom end of it. Not only does water gather there, but it leaves sludge after it drains away. The sludge requires a shovel to remove it. Please reply soonest.
