I did contact a local company for an estimate but they have not returned my phone call. I was also searching for landscaping services on the web and found a company that does landscaping and concrete, so I called, he came to the house, I now have the estimate and I will be going with a concrete driveway instead of asphalt. I planned to repair large asphalt driveway and did get one bid for that, but your comparisons of driveway types/maintenance led me to change to a complete replacement with concrete. But I was unable to get much help with local contractors from site.
