Thank you for the information and checklist pertaining to asphalt choices for a driveway. Unfortunately there are none in this area on your list of recommended installers. I did contact a local company for an estimate but they have not returned my phone call. I was also searching for landscaping services on the web and found a company that does landscaping and concrete, so I called, he came to the house, I now have the estimate and I will be going with a concrete driveway instead of asphalt. Thank you again for the information.

I have a long gravel driveway that I want paved. I do not know if there is enough base to support new driveway. There is a lot of water in area from springs, so base is important to prevent heaving in winter. The compacted thickness is important for a lasting job.
