It depends on they type of application.
Spray Application
When the sealer is sprayed on, it's applied with a spray wand coming out of a tank. Usually these tanks are 300 to 500 gallon capacity and are mounted on trailers. If the sealer is being applied with spraying equipment, then 2 coats of sealer is recommended.
Squeegee Application
When the sealer is squeegeed on, it's applied by either pouring it from buckets filled from the tank or from the hose out of the tank and then spreading it with the squeegees. If it’s being applied by squeegees, then one heavy coat or two even coats can be applied.
